In this game you are a little red guy who walks and jumps around, trying to find the exit. You must not touch creatures or hazards. Also try to find powerups to help you finish the level. Requires a bit of thinking, but overall it is fun if you can figure it out. This game may be weird for some due to the somewhat childish graphics. Overall, a dandy puzzle game that manages to have decent sidescroller elements.

Reviewer: charlie2234 I first played this game on a disk I bought when I was about 10. It’s a really fun game.
Aro's primary objective is to survive in his trip through a strange land, in which he has found himself. In his adventures, Aro will come across many dangers as well as strange phenomenon. The land does not always obey the known laws of physics.
The game's main menu can be easily navigated using the arrow keys as well as and. The main menu can be brought up at any time by pressing the key. The game is automatically paused if you're in the middle of play.
It’s a nice game to kill some free time. Try it.
Reviewer: riddler021 In a time where 3D, texture mapped, gouraud shaded, 1st person perspective, 6 DOF, super blow'em'up, dark gushing blood, action games are all that can be seen on the retail rack, I've decided to try something a little different, more classic, less bloody, more smiley.
This is a cute little shareware game about a cuddly little red guy named Aro who wanders around in a zany and fun-filled land filled with slimes, strange bouncing creatures, magical potions, funky and crazy trees, blue skies, orange sunsets, twinkly stars, and crumbling castles. There is no shooting of any kind in this game! It is good clean and quality fun for anyone looking for a change in pace from the normal game. This is an instant classic type of game with great game play and a nice-to-look-at type of world. For those of you who enjoyed playing games in the Kirby series when you were growing up, I would give Aro a look. The similarities between the two are noticeable, but trust me, the differences are noticeable as well. There are absolutely no gimmicks or time-fillers in this game! Pure quality game play fills the game from start to finish, and time will fly while you play the game. Just because it isn't a first person shooter or an action packed role playing game, doesn't mean Aro doesn't have anything to offer to you.
Aro is a great change of pace because of the mental aspect and thinking required for you to finish the game. The puzzles are magnificent and will require much thought by the player in order to complete the game. Don't let normal physical elements of the earth around you get in the way of the events of the game; the game play does not necessarily follow the rules of the world around you! This action-packed adventure takes you across the strange world that little Aro has found himself in, so be prepared for out of the ordinary occurrences!
Another appropriate title to the game would be "Aro In Wonderland" because of the circumstances our hero found himself in. He stumbled across a magical world and is trying to escape it before the dangerous creatures do him in. His only hope is you, the player, to assist him in his escape before the real danger arrives! Will you help Aro escape?
