Reviewer: tomwm16 I really enjoyed this game. It totally blew me away. Compared to other games that are around the same time era, it is in the top by far! The controls are great, just perfect for playing. The action is also very superb. The characters move fluently enough. Oh, and I just love the sounds and video fighting effects!
Doing the combos as well was cool, it was a little hard, ok difficult at first to master and remember and pull them off, but it is so worth it in the end when you see their life meter drop very low and dramatically. So now I’ve been playing this game for a while and I still haven't gotten sick of it. It's one of those games you have to come back to again and again.
Going into more detail about the effects, there were always sounds and flashes of light all the time which made it more interesting than other games of this certain type or genre.
Overall I thought this game was simply great. Must have.
Reviewer: TacticianMark Metal and Lace 2 is a rather interesting game, for the fact that it and its predecessor (Metal and Lace) both look very similar to the popular games such as Street Fighter and King of Fighters. However, when I played this game, I'd have to say it's a tad more similar to Samurai Showdown for the SNES/Sega Genesis in terms of gameplay. Gameplay is about the same as any other fighting game; punch, kick, throw, and/or use special attacks to put your opponent into submission. Not much else to say there, though I do admit that combat seems to flow faster/smoother in the game than in most others. Judging by the looks of the backgrounds and the characters, this game uses a sprite system for graphics, which isn't bad, but a little outdated. So for gameplay I'd say 9.5/10. Graphics would probably have to be the main topic of this game, for most, if not all Adult games are supposed to have good graphics for pleasurable viewing. The characters are well drawn/made, and they stand out from the background very well, which doesn't distract you unlike Street Fighter where some of the curious animations from the background have you staring at it for a few seconds and then you refocus only to find out that you're losing. The game itself is pretty much a hentai fighting game (hentai = japanese pornography, for those of you who don't know), so it focuses on the female characters. Within the game is a gallery where images you've unlocked are saved into, so you don't have to beat whatever you have to beat again just to see it. Overall, the graphics are well-designed, and the babes are very sexy and make excellent eye-candy/etc. (My favorite is Caviar; mmmmmm) for the excellent graphics I give it a 10/10. The main plot of the game takes place in a sci-fi world/the future/etc. where you fight opponents using "Robo-Babes" in arenas. Basically, when you win, the opponent's Robo-Babe pilot (all females if I remember correctly) rewards you by stripping in images which will be saved into the gallery system I mentioned earlier. Since plot isn't such a big deal in fighting games, I won't give it a rating. Therefore, in conclusion, Metal and Lace 2 is a great hentai fighting game for its graphics, gameplay being better than Metal and Lace 1. It is a sure winner for any fight fan or hentai enthusiast.
