Reviewer: Trum A little strange this one. A subtle (as a kick in the face) combination of a delightful puzzler and a rather strange collection of explicit Hentai. I came across this title not realising it was adult on a disk a friend gave me and, at first found myself a little scared. However, on the whole I really enjoyed it. The normal animation is very fluid and the pictures (although not my thing really) are of a high quality.
The action is once again Unique, on your chessboard like playing field you drop pentagrams (using Z) upon the floor then leave a line of carrots behind you. When you press the button again, a bunny runs out of the pentagram towards you, its all about getting the timing right so that the bunny hits your enemy mid run. The trick of course comes in getting the whole lot in one go and - as with all puzzle games the action gets difficult as you get further into the game- involving some split second timing in order to zap all of your enemies.
The storyline itself (from what I can make out) involves the girl being gifted the powers (of the rabbit etc etc) by a demon. In exchange said demon wants you to fetch him some woman to - make use of shall we say. This is where the Hentai comes in. However I'm not convinced if that’s your interest in this game, that it’s for you. Although the pics are good, once again - with only a pic every few frustrating and difficult levels. You may find yourself a little bit frustrated. If you want to play this game but are a wee bit put off by the idea of the dirty pics- all is not lost as you can bypass them by turning the opening demo and the story mode off. I'd say this is a puzzle game with hentai, not the other way round.
Whatever its flaws, I really enjoyed playing marble cooking. The combination of reaction time, puzzle solving and the general presentation is good. I think it’s worth a download for a puzzle fan. If you just wanna see the pics or 'follow the story' have a look around the internet. There are a few tricks to hack the game so that you can have all the levels and all the pics from square one. Whatever you say about this game, you'll never play anything like it or at least I never have! Give it a download and enjoy it.
