Jones in the fast lane, old school cool at it's finest. The aim of Jones in the fast lane is to get the good life by getting a good education, a great job and the cool apartment. You can either play against Jones or play against a few friends. It's great fun and a whole lot of laughs, everyone I’ve played this game with has loved it and played again and again.
True the graphics are old and just a little crude by today’s standards but that's just all part of Jones in the fast lane's charm. There are plenty of features in Jones in the fast lane that will keep you playing again and again.
Just like real life Jones in the fast lane changes, inflation sends everyday prices sky rocketing, a strong economy means great pay, depressions in the work force mean you might lose your jobs. Your health declines if you don't eat or if you work too hard. Be mugged while leaving the bank or have your apartment broken into.
You can also buy items for your apartment and your comfort as well, like TV’s, fridges, hot tubs, computers, books, radios and much more. You can also buy tickets to ball games, music concerts, and the theater.
At the end of each turn you are treated to a little message about what you got up too on the weekend. Each message will give you a little smile as you and your little character get up to some strange and unusual things.
Interact with the various characters through out Jones in the fast lane and get a kick out of the words of wisdom they will pass on to you. Funny little comments that will keep you enjoying Jones in the fast lane for weeks to come.
What else can I say about Jones in the fast lane? Well it's a turn based game for one to four players, play against the computer player, Jones, or against friends of family. Learn, earn and spend up to build your personal wealth. Choose what goals you will play to win including money, education and happiness. Laugh at all the little one liners throughout the game.
Grab some friends and have a laugh as you go through life trying to become number one.
