Jill of the jungle is a completly crazy game involving a girl called Jill, she doesnt have many brains so you have to guide her through this interactive world with big ants, Wierd looking firebirds and really stupid frogs that kill her. You only get knifes and apples. What a load of rubbish.
Beware of the 3rd level it has really loud music! :)

Jill of the jungle is a 2-D DOS game in which you guide the character Jill, a good looking blonde haired blued eyed character, through different scenes and scenarios. In order to get through each level and the game you must guide Jill through scenes of giant ants, volcanoes and killer frogs to complete every level. The game also involves retrieving goods and items in order to keep Jill alive and get her through to the next level.
If you were a child of the 90's this MS DOS game is sure to be one which you would have encountered throughout your child hood. Jill of the Jungle is a fun 2-D arcade game in which you scroll your character through using various keyboard keys to jump and climb up vines and to escape danger. The game’s graphics are quite acceptable and are not to pixilated which may deter younger players from other games.
Throughout the game itself there are different scenarios which Jill is faced with. Although you do not have to deal with all of these dangerous encounters on your own you are given a knife which works in a boomerang style way. Throughout the game Jill also collects any available apples to replenish her health and search for keys in order to unlock door ways and new levels.
The game Jill of the jungle was released around the same time as duke nukem and commander keen so if you have never heard of Jill but have heard of, and enjoyed the others I will recommend this one to you. It has the same basic keyboard controls and is also one of the side scroll games. Another similarity which you will encounter is the oversized bugs or insects which you will encounter in these games as enemies.
The game is quite a fun one starting off quite basic in order to complete the levels and gradually getting harder as the game goes on. The main aim of the game seems to be getting through the dangerous scenarios while keeping Jill alive and replenished with the food source and searching for keys to get to the next level.
