Red Storm Rising is a game that was based on a novel by Tom Clancy. It is a submarine simulation game where you are put in control of a submarine in European waters. The graphics of the game is very simple but it does not in any way lessen the value of the game. The game was created so that you get a feel of being underwater. It is a fantastic submarine warfare game that involves controlling the submarine in the Third World War.
The war of course is fictional. The war erupted between the forces of NATO and Warsaw Pact forces.
You will have to take control of the whole submarine from its speed, managing its sonar and taking down enemy battleships. The game involves listening intently and working on the different information that you have so that you can hit the enemy ships before it hits you. If you do well with it, you will be able to dink down ships. The game requires patience and strategy because there is more to manning your own submarine. You can use torpedoes on enemy ships. Torpedoes are usually not detected by the enemy ships until you activate them and then they become visible to the enemy ship’s sonar and other equipments.
The game requires strategy and precise timing because you need to launch tornadoes at the precise moment. You must also make sure that you are undetected before you hit the enemy ships and you must also make sure that you can evade enemy attacks on your submarine. You must learn how to use the data that are provided to you.
When your sub gets hit, you can go to a port to have it fixed. The problem of course is now you have to evade enemy ships with less efficient machinery. This makes the game even more challenging. This is a fantastic game because it combines a plausible plot, clean graphics, and good AI that makes the game challenging enough even for the most experienced gamers. This is actually one of my favorite simulation games because it really takes you into the game. It is a well-made and intelligent game. It won’t bore you and bug you down with details and subplots but it presents some good scenarios and locations for an interesting war game.
Those who enjoy war games and simulation games will really approve of Red Storm Rising. This game is worth downloading

I think many people would like playing this game. Especially boys, as this is a boy themed game but some girls may like this just as much as i did.
