Blood 2 : The chosen is a direct sequel to the game Blood using the build engine that was also used for Duke Nukem. This adventure is all about fast action FPS. If you loved the first one you will love this one even more. The story has you on the edge of your seat. WARNING: This game is definitely not for the faint of heart.
The amount of blood and gore of this game is unmatched by any game I have ever played.
The graphics in todays standards are okay but back in the late 90's they were pretty good. The levels don't get repetitive. You will be running through dark alleys, museums, trains and other types of levels that will have you playing this game over and over. The Variety of weapons is plentiful, Though, It would have been nice to have some other fun toys to play with but you will still find fun with the weapons in the game. This game also has support for custom levels. I however could never find a use for this feature.
So I couldn't put it as a strong point. I am aware that there is online play available. You can duke it out with you friends or people you don't even know. If you can find anybody who still plays this game online. There is also some dumb humor in the game that is a very weak point of the game play. Overall this game is a great Fps for its time And I would highly recommend playing it if you love intense gore, violence and a game that can easily creep you out. The game is okay 8/10.
