Not in the Amazon! You are an explorer investigating the burning of the Amazon Rain Forest. Many times you have heard the natives telling stories of over grown menacing ants, as large as wolves! Curious, you ask a native to lead you to one of the large ant hills. With much hesitation, he decides to bring you only within sight of the hill. Swallowing, you venture down into the depths. ..
You get points for every black ants you squish, but avoid the red ants... they will kill you. You will also get points if you pick up ant eggs, gems and pick axes. Use the pick axes to break down the walls, but spare them for times when you really need them.

While Ant Hill is considered a classic, like Oregon Trail, Pac Man, Pong, etc., Ant Hill is probably the greatest game out there for children today!
The graphics are very 1980s but you can spend hours playing this game as you try to kill the ants attacking you! It's a very simple game that turns to a mind-blowing time attack! There is definitely a lot of skill required to keep up with this game but again you'll be there for hours!
Also, the graphics are simple enough to where you can see everything going on and when you're playing this game day or night you'll never get bored. The point system is established with the "killing" of ants and you'll soon set up a system to get the most points possible!
This game is a nice addition to any arcade player's collection! It reminds me a lot of other games out there where you search and destroy! You will use a lot of different things to obtain different items. Memory, timing, skill, and multitasking is a must in this game.
If you allow your children to play this game they will hopefully obtain those skills mentioned above and they will enjoy playing this game as much as Pac Man, Oregon Trail, etc.
In the end this game will keep you busy trying to get points, pick up ant eggs, gems and pick axes, and using the pick axes to break down the walls.

Just remember that if you play this game that it is an "old" game. Like the ones you used to play in computer lab when your teacher allowed you to play video games!!! My ratings are based on comparing them to other classics.
Another note is that if you have a fear of ants, time constraints, bad music, or being abandoned in the Amazon with very few resources, this is not the game for you! That is the main story line of this game! There are many variations of this game out there but this is the best since you only rely on surviving the jungle and killing everything you can, still remembering your basic skills needed to survive!!!
