This is a rather intriguing puzzle game, the object is to make the laser gun shoot a laser at a red ball. You have equipment such as mirrors to ensure that the laser hits the ball (the laser gun only shoots straight). There is a time limit, you need to think a bit fast. Some levels have obstacles that you must overcome. Place the mirrors and stuff in the right positions, then fire away.
The laser gun shoots, and then you can watch the path it takes.

This is a mentally-intensive game, you need to have a lot of thinking and you need to pay very close attention to detail in order to win this game. If you like games that demand maximum brain power, download this game!

Ah yes, Laser Light. The graphics are decent enough, especially considering the time it came out. When firing the laser it even gives a fun countdown in large red numbers. I would give it a 4 out of 5.

Game play is where Laser Light shines, no pun intended. The premise of the game is simple, the laser shoots straight, there is a balloon you have to pop using said laser, you are allowed to use mirrors to angle the laser to the balloon. Here is the tricky part at the start of each “round” you are given a time limit. So you have to think fast at times to get the desired outcome.

I give game play a 5 out of 5. Since I believe that it’s simple enough to play so people will not have a difficult time playing, it is fun watching the laser bounce from the mirrors you place, and it can be difficult at times. On harder difficulties the game introduces obstacles, making it more fun and interesting. You only have so many mirrors so you have to make your decisions fairly carefully. Be mindful though, the minute you press the fire button if the laser misses you essentially lost for that game. Luckily you only need to press replay and you are back in the action.

Replay factor. This is where it gets tricky, after I played through one “round” I never really felt like going back through and playing it again. At least not for another week or two. However, this is also a game that is easy enough to pick up when you are bored, and good enough to keep your attention. So for this reason I give the replay factor a 4 out of 5.

The music. Well, this is the area that I did not enjoy as much. I know that it is a game that is older so I expected the music to be as it is. So I cannot really fault it for the 8-bit era music it puts out. What I tend to do is just turn the volume off, put on some headphones and listen to the music I like, merely because it isn’t my “cup of tea”. I give this area knowing that it’s an older game a 3.5 out of 5.

There are enough modes to satisfy, giving you choices of difficulty, a tutorial, save and load functions and even a high score mode. It’s enough to make you happy, but nothing truly special. So I give modes a 4.5 out of 5.
