This game is very similar to Collapse. On a grid, you are given many squares of various colors and arrangements. Try to get rid of all the blocks, to get rid of blocks, click on a group of 2 or more blocks of the same color. Graphics are primitive and simple. Even though the game is in French, you can still play it. The problem with this game is that it is easy to get a high score by rapidly clicking on random areas since it rewards you for how fast you click.
There are much better Collapse clones than this, but this game is worth a download for a quick time-killer.
Reviewer: Crystalkitsune85 This was an interestingly fun game. I never actually played it before when it was popular, but when I found it here I played it and thought how much it was similar to other games out there now. I imagine that this is one of the foundations of the games like collapse. The colors are simple, and the play is simple enough for anyone to play. I've wanted to get nostalgic and find other games like the ones that I played as a child and finding DOS games like this is a great way to get nostalgic.
Blocks may be simple and might not look like a fun game, but once you get into it, and start playing it actually makes one want to keep playing. If you're into more action games or platform games, then this isn't the game for you. This is a puzzle game and sort of a strategy game since you have to try and get all the pieces clear.
Different levels with colors and more difficult puzzles to do as you go along. It may be in a different language, but it's simple enough to understand since its pretty much self explanatory on how to play.
I've played games similar to this that are more updated, in the sense of better graphics and more levels, cute characters...etc, but its games like this that is a front runner for those other games. You need to remember while playing these games, that Blocks and any other game you find on here, are pretty old. Late 80's and mid 90's when DOS was still the format for computer systems. I think that these kinds of games are good considering the time period that they're in.
Today people thing that the better the graphic, the better the game. That may be true for those who haven't witnessed/played these kinds of games. I was a child of course when DOS was around, but playing the games like Blocks, or Commander Keen or even Crystal Caves, were things that moved my childhood along. Remembrance of these games brings back memories of how things were when I was younger. I would highly suggest that people should go back to the time when things were simple. Games like this as simple as they are, are still fun. Of course some of the games are a bit silly, or VERY simple, but there are others that include thought and the use of keys. Just let old games stick around a while, and allow them to keep us amused.
