The third episode in the Hugo trilogy is Hugo 3: Jungle of Doom. Hugo and his grilfriend Penelope are crahsed with their plane somewhere in the jungle in Africa. When Penelope goes out for a walk in the jungle, a spider bites her and she is seriously hurt. You are playing with Hugo and you have to find a way through the jungle. Somewhere in this game Hugo will find a doctor who tells him to search for the "Pool of Life". This must be the way to get his girlfriend better...
The graphics are not worse but they're not very good. The gameplay is nice, like all old Sierra-games. Sounds? Well, I don't know if there are any, I don't hear them on my Windows XP computer. Maybe tehy'll work in Windows 98, but I'm not sure.

Hugo 3: Jungle of Doom is an adventure game that had many children hooked on adventure games and video games. The game is the third installment in the Hugo games series.
In Hugo 3: Jungle of Doom, the hero of the game Hugo finds himself in a jungle when the airplane he was on runs out of fuel and crashes. He is with his girlfriend Penelope and they are trying to find their way out of the jungle when she gets bitten by a giant spider. This is where the bigger adventure begins. Your goal is to find miraculous water that will heal Penelope from the spider’s bite. You only have three days to find the water and bring it back to Penelope.
The game will have you playing the role of Hugo and has a good mix of action and adventure. There are numerous Jungle animals that Hugo has to avoid to be able to get to the pool of life. There are tigers, elephants, snakes and others. There are also head-hunters in the jungle.
The game features some really challenging puzzles that make the game more fun. The game will require you to explore around the jungle and collect items that will be used in the puzzles. There are also some clues that lead to the location of the pool of life and there are items that you will need so that you can collect water from the pool to bring back to Penelope.
There will be some parts of the game where you are sure to get stuck because of the complexity of the challenge or the puzzle. You must save often so that you can move forward even if you die in the game. Death and capture are inevitable in the game because there are many obstacles and challenges present.
The graphics and the sounds of the game are nothing amazing but it works well for the game. The game looks colorful and the user interface is friendly but I won’t exactly consider the game technically superior. It’s a fun game to play though so I don’t have any complaints. If a game is good enough to get me hooked for many hours then I really don’t worry too much about the graphics and music.
This is a fantastic game that RPG lovers will surely enjoy. The game has enough elements and variety and game play that make it very interesting for your young and old players alike.
