When I first played this game I was kind of sceptical about it, because I never played games online like this one. When I started to play it I slowly became more and more interested in the game as a whole. Then as time progressed on I slowly became addicted to the game and I could not stop playing it. For a few days the only way I was walking away from it was when I needed to eat, drink, or sleep.
But since I am older now and I have many responsibilities and I can not sit and play a game all the time. If I was younger and I had all the time in the world I would put towards this game.
I think this game is good in many aspects for the user and the provider. It is good for the user because it brings excitement and none stop fun and one thing that I realized is that it can target any age groups and I personally believe that is one of the goals of dos games online. Another good thing about the game is that it is user friendly because I had no problem using it. Since I am a long time gamer now for more the 10 years I am able to catch on to games relatively easily, but I honestly think that anyone could pick this game up with no problem and enjoy it as much as I did myself.
Reviewer: Dos-Games-Online Game shows seem to make excellent conversions to computer games. Once a person is addicted to a game show that they watch on television every day, it is second nature for that person to find a computer game that matches the show so that they can play along more actively and truly test their skills against another opponent, be it human or AI. It is far more fun and interactive than yelling at the television, and the fools on the screen that can’t figure out the answers no matter how hard you yell. Such is the case with this second installment of the original game show Classic Concentration.
Originally hosted by Alex Trebek, Classic Concentration was once a popular game show, popular enough to spawn a computer game and then this sequel. It was produced by Softie and does a faithful job of recreating the rules of the original Concentration game, just adding more new puzzles for this follow up play.
For people unfamiliar with the game, Classic Concentration is a mixture between the child’s game of memory and the ability to solve puzzles called rebuses. Players will take turns choosing pairs of tiles on a large playing board in hopes of uncovering two that match, similar to the child’s game played with a standard set of playing cards. Unlike the children’s game, however, the user will not find, for example, the eight of hearts when a tile is overturned. Instead he will find a prize, and will have to match it with its counterpart in order to win the prize. Play bounces back and forth between the two players, with each player trying to make as many matches as possible in order to win the corresponding prizes. When the contestants fail to make a match, play goes to the opponent.
That is not the end of the game of Classic Concentration, however. When each matching pair of tiles is removed, it will reveal a piece of the rebus that is below. A rebus is a type of word puzzle that uses a combination of pictures and letters to spell out larger items. For example, the letter “I” in front of a bottle of adhesive will go together to form Igloo. (I + Glue). The user’s ultimate goal is to remove enough tiles in order to solve the rebus and win the game. Of course, it is easy to get greedy and try to match tiles with very cool or valuable prizes beneath them that really reveal nothing of the rebus. There is plenty of strategy involved in Classic Concentration 2, which is exactly like the original but features newer puzzles.
