Reviewer: mrbiomech Cobra City, a veritable hell on Earth with little hope for the people. Gangs run the streets and Gang Lords rule without discretion. People often wonder how things turned out so badly, yet oddly nobody knows. Enter the dynamic duo Private Investigator JR Knight and his old flame companion Faythe. Together they will investigate and clean up this snake infested city, and maybe get some sweet honeys in the process.
Console control is basically similar to Legends of Zelda where the player will scroll around the city fighting random bad guys from street punks, sales people, and more urban stereotypes. Combat mode switches from a top-down perspective to a first person display of the enemy. Weapons selection requires using the mouse to select weapons and using the pointer to strike at the picture of an enemy. This deals damage to the enemy health on a turn based system. Also, the damage is proportional to where you click on an enemy illustration in the form of weak spots. For example, jabbing at the head or chest or groin will be more effective than jabbing at the arms. Weapons selection can cause the pointer to become jittery based on weapon type and stats. Thus, if you have low stats in agility and lousy weapon, aiming the pointer to damage the enemy will be difficult.
The game terrain is similar to that of Knights of Xentar, where the player will go around different sections of the city to level-up by fighting. Eventually, you will meet a hot woman being molested by thugs in each section of the city. Defeat the gang to gain the woman's appreciation and for the hentai scenes. Typical dialogue and interactions will be racy and comprehensive, unlike the comedic parody of Knights of Xentar.
The graphics leave much to be desired although combat illustrations are decent. The ending becomes extremely bizarre since it shifts from a kind of detective story to a science fiction tale, but it really shouldn't distract from the main point of animated porn (I mean that is why we are all here right?). Overall, this is pretty good game for the time during the early 90's and it is among the few free English hentai games on the market. Have Fun Kids!
