In GateWorld 1: The Seed Ship you are Captain Klondike and you have to fight against G.O.R.G., an evil machine which is in control of a runaway asteroid. Stop G.O.R.G. in this sidescrolling Duke Nukem-like game.
There are three skill levels in GateWorld 1, easy, normal and hard. It looks a bit like Duke Nukem, as you can see on the screenshot. Duke Nukem fans might like to check this out, it's worth the download.

If you love sci-fi adventure stories you will love this game too. It hooks you in, like all old timer games do, with a thrilling passion to overcome and win. As far as graphics go the game borders along average but once you emerge yourself in the game play what do the graphics matter, graphics never bothered anyone in Tetris, pacman or even frogger. If you have your mind set on a goal that’s all that matters and this is one game that will have that effect on you in the end. Gate World 1 takes you back to the old style of gaming, it brings you back to the basics, it leaves you with enough time to reboot, but doesn’t leave you bored and that’s a main part in a good game. That makes for the thrill without making it too difficult. This game proves pretty good right the way through, games lack when they take some time to warm up or when they warm up to nothing but Gate World doesn’t allow for that you don’t get focused on a ridiculous story line and mental case characters with a book they call and intro it just boom, bang and game on, that way every one is kept happy.
I would highly recommend you give this game at lease a try, don’t be fooled by the average quality graphics before you because behind all that there’s good game play with the potential to get you hooked and eat away hours at a time like many before you have experienced. You will be surprised what an old game like this has hiding behind its pixels. However, you will never find out if you don’t give it a chance so take the step forward and get your game on.
