"The evil Dark Lord has kidnapped ans taken you to his massive mansion where he is keeping you for ransom. Luckily, you have broken free without Dark Lord noticing! However, now your real task awaits: you must find your way out of the mansion."
Mansion is a very basic text-based game. The first levels are very easy to get through, as the enemy monsters only move when you move your own character. It requires some more thinking when you're getting further in the game, but is still not very hard. I tested this game in Dosbox running in Linux, and it runs fine over here. You should download the game if you are bored an really really don't know what to do. You'll hardly get addicted to this game.

I love this game. The effects and gameplay bring me straight back to when I was 8 playing on my first computer playing all the games my brother brought home on floppy disc, and mansion just happen to be one of my favorite. This game is very similar to “Mummy Maze” which is a palm pilot game now that the monster only moves when you move.
The strategy for this game is to go from room to room avoiding or trapping the monsters before they get you now this is sometimes a lot harder than it sounds as each step you take left right forward or even when necessary backwards the monsters always move on closer to you. And with adrenalin pumping sitting on the edge of you seat action you pass room by room of the Mansion.
The graphics a classic late 80’s and early 90’s we all know it and before all the new fandangle graphics and first person view and rocking’ 3d’s came out this was the best of the best. Everyone needs are walk down memory lane and mansion will bring on the nostalgia.
The sound effects in this game are fantastic you’ll really feel like you’re in this game.
I love it! So, definitely, download this game, give it a whirl and a twirl and play, play, play.
