This is an interesting sort of word game, the object is to make words out of a grid made up of 25 random letters (the same letter might be used more than once). You click on one letter, then you click letters next to that letter and the subsequent letters until you form a word. It's hard to explain here, but it should be simple once you start playing.

If you like crossword puzzles, word searches, Scrabble, etc.
this game should take your letter gaming to a whole new level!

This simulator of the board game Boggle is entertaining and will give you hours of fun. Just like the board game, no two games are ever the same, since the configuration of letters in the board is randomized. This leads to endless variation, and so it leads to endless fun!

The graphics in Bog are quite simplistic, with a black background and simple solid colors for text and the board. Luckily, however, this is one game where you don't need flashy graphics to have a great gameplay experience. Big explosions and realistic facial expressions would add little to such a simple and intuitive word game. That simplicity has been the key to the lasting success of the board game, and is the key to the quality of this computer game as well.

As far as gameplay is concerned, Bog may seem daunting to first-time players, but the controls are quickly mastered. Players click on one letter at a time, followed by another adjacent to it, followed by another adjacent to that one, and so on until the chain of letters constructs a word. Players race to see how many words they can construct out of the random assortment of letters on the board within the allotted time. After a few rounds, even a first-time player will be challenging his or her vocabulary and filling up the word list!

A bit of strategy: it is often helpful when beginning to look for common consonant-vowel combinations, and to record every three-letter word using them at the outset of a round. For example, if there is an A-T combination on the board somewhere, look at the surrounding letters to find words like HAT, RAT, BAT, etc. And don't forget that the same letters can also form a word in reverse! If you fine RAT, make sure to record TAR as well. Once a solid foundation of three-letter words has been laid, you can look for longer (higher-scoring) words. Hint: short words can often be combined to make longer compound words. Also, plural and singular nouns both count, so if there is an S on the board, watch for plural nouns!

All in all, Bog is a fun Boggle simulator that gives you all of the enjoyment of the board game on your computer screen. Word game fans will find hours of fun in this simple yet addicting masterpiece.
