This is the second implementation of the Ford Simulator, this time featuring information on 1990 model year Ford vehicles. Far better graphics than Ford Simulator 1. As usual, the driving simulator is present (the only way that this program could possibly be called a game) and it provides some drag racing, along with some normal street driving. Strangely enough, when you hit a car, you just go through it, weird. However, it counts how many cars you hit and the less you hit, the more points you get.

It is a classic retro car sim game, and is accurate at representing the real-life cars "fords" in the game considering the year of the game. The ford probe is a personal favorite car of mine, so I really enjoy playing this game purely for that car. Also, the way that the game shows the dash of the car is pretty cool, once again despite the age of the game, the features in the game are still featured in a lot more modern 21st century car sim games. The menu system of the game is pretty easy to navigate too, and the challenges, which you encounter throughout the game, are pretty cool and make driving in the game a little more fun. This game is for windows and obviously does not require any demanding high end hardware from today's generation, but to play the game properly and problem free you are required to at least run the game in compatibility mode, or even better download an emulator for the version of os that the game requires, ensuring that you can play the game problem free. The one strange thing about this game is that when you hit a car you just go straight through it, which some people may think it is cool, but I just think it’s slightly weird.
Also, the graphics are a lot better than for simulator 1. The two main gameplay scenarios in the game are street racing and drag racing, and the drag racing being the personal favorite of mine. The speed of the gameplay is a lot better than the speed of the gameplay in ford simulator 1 which is a great relief. This game is quite a good way of finding out what ford cars were like in the 1990s and is a great way to experience some simple driving simulation. One other little cool, but maybe a not so cool feature of the game if you aren’t the best at these driving simulation games is that the game counts how many cars you hit whilst you are driving in the drag race scenario or the street driving scenario, and the game gives you less points if you hit more cars and obviously more points if you manage to hit as few cars as possible. The game is best played on a keyboard, as the controls for the game are simple so use of a joystick can complicate the game slightly.
If you like car sim games, and like retro games, definitely give it a try.
