The graphics are done well. The sound is excellent! If you've ever watched the Indianapolis 500 on TV, this is your chance to get in on the action (virtually, of course). As is with the real show, this game is hard. However, this is a fairly fun driving experience that should appeal to fans of the racing genre. Overall, a realistic simulation of the Indianapolis 500 that should appeal to fans of that racing series.
If you like racing, download this game now! If you're not much into racing, I suggest you find a different racing game.

If you are good at driving a race car using just the arrow keys, you'll be awesome at this game. Unfortunately, I was never good at this game. My secret was to get the car turned around, start going the wrong way, then take out as many cars as I could. A bit underhanded, I know, but it still worked.
Anyway, this game was pretty good for its time. The graphics are more or less terrible, but you sort of forget about that once you realize that it's actually a lot of fun to play. It was my first introduction to racing as a kid, and even though I don't watch racing, I learned to appreciate the speed and excitement of the sport from this game. The car is sort of hard to handle and the graphics make it sort of hard to have any sort of depth perception. However, once you move past all that, it's a good way to kill time.
