The graphics are decent. The sound is excellent. You are a helicopter pilot that rescues people. This game is a little bit like the arcade classic Defender. It is excellent at testing your reflexes and brain power. A well-made game that may be boring and repetitive for some.

The game Airlift Rescue, just by looking at its name, players should already comprehend that the game will be about rescuing, which is my very first analysis when I played this game. Basically when a player starts a game, he or she will start at a ground air base with a helicopter, which then takes off and your primary mission is to rescue hostages or what not from different areas. However it won't be that easy as the obstacle on this game are tanks which will definitely try to shoot your helicopter down, but I’m not sure if other helicopter rescue game has this but the players helicopter can actually go side-view and try to hit the tanks.
The music used in the game as well is pretty cool and fits the game in some sense. Although I would have wanted it to be much cooler like what you see in action movies nowadays but expecting this game to be quite old, the music is good in its own right. Also the graphics which players would have noticed from the start is quite outdated and bad compared to today’s games. But putting the graphics at the side, the game itself is quite entertaining although not that challenging as much.
The sound effects are pretty interesting, especially when you fire at the opposition the sound effects of the fire shots are quite impressive and if you got bored of fighting ground tanks, as you progress more levels you can get the chance to fight other opponents like alien spacecraft, or a very fast aircrafts that will pound you with bullets, and what’s good is that its quite annoying since every time you hit the ground its quite realistic, which if you hit low enough of the ground you will actually blow up which makes it more challenging and in turn make it more playable because you always wanted to beat the game. So even though the graphics is outdated and the gameplay isn’t really that interesting, the game, however, can be really fun and can be addicted to some.
