Megazeux is another nice game creator. I don't understand much of this one, but if you make a study of it and if you look better at this game creator I'm sure you'll find out how to make games with it.
Megazeux is ment for making RPG games. There are some people who did made a game with it and I can say these games are nice to play.
Conclusion: you won't understand much of it when you run it the first time, but if you go on and try making a game with it, it could be a nice game.

MegaZeux is an interesting program created by now what is EpicGames, allowing both a code engine for work on your very own scripted game. It is basically a game generator. To make matters even better for those who lose the fires of creating their own games, it comes with a default game, Caverns of Zeux. The basis of the gameplay is text oriented, meaning the actual levels and characters are made by letters numbers and symbols, similar to the classic game "Rogue"
Gameplay is very simple, based of arrow key or letter key commands and various buttons to use for things such as power ups. This program is very useful as a scripting engine, being of the DOS variety it is fairly easily coded. It has been used to make countless games that people may recognize, and can cover such a wide range of themes that the possibilities are pretty much endless. From space cowboys to Wild West cowboys, or super stealth spy games to romances, MegaZeux can make them all.
This is definitely a game for the creative mind, the budding programmer, or the classic complainer who always finds something wrong with the games that he or she plays. This is the big chance to write your own story in a theme of your choosing, create characters and the parameters for their advancement, design power-ups to make them stronger at given intervals and so on. Enemies are just as much fun to design as heroes, and you can have everything from scary monsters to evil aliens, dinosaurs to completely fictitious blobs or seemingly benign bunnies. It is all up to you.
While the games that you create will be very rudimentary, they will be entirely your own and limited only by your imagination. This is a great application and should be seriously considered.
